Hi,
UPnP wise there is no difference between the US and European version. Please make sure you have the latest firmware installed on the SLA5500, since earlier versions are not that compatible with RC9800i (may work, but then not stable, etc...)
I could not check yet myself with the latest SLA5500 firmware, but as soon as I can do, I will let you know the results.
