Nos 3 and 4 are the must haves for me. If Philips could sort these in the next firmware upgarde then this remote would be 'almost' ideal for me.

Another suggestion would be to be able to use a 'streamed' image as the background for device pages. That one should also be real easy to do.

I also have a RU980 and an iPronto and whilst I love both of those and recognise they are quite a bit more powerful, I also have to recognise that each of those have taken weeks, if not months, to get setup correctly with all graphics, screen links etc. My new RC9800i was up and running and controlling all my kit correctly within about 3 hours.

And now I understand the limitations of it I have to say I am pretty impressed and the 'intelligence' it has to know what kit is on, off etc. is pretty impressive for a wizard driven setup.

Oh, and this is the only remote that allows me to listen to my MP3 music through the remote itself whilst controlling other kit. A gimmick yes, but still very cool.
