Not likely, we were promised a long time ago that a firmware update would come soon. We (the users on the connected planet forum) reported all the bugs we could find and they promised to solve them. We never heard a thing again and the connected planet forum is gone with all the information. I have seen they're developing a new remote which looks like a 9800i but is a successor of the pronto line. This remote will be programmable and only sold by authorized dealers/installers. I think all their effort is going into that remote and that they stop developing the 9800i. Sad but true!
