I have an IRTrans device that is working with my MCE remote for Media Center. I would like use my yamaha audio receiver remote's universal function to control media center, while retaining the functionality of the MCE remote as well.

I have configured the yamaha to work as a dvd-recorder remote, and have programmed the commands into IRTrans learner program. I named them all the same as the commands for the media center remote, and it doesn't work in MCE. Is there something else I have to do to get IRTrans to send the commands to mce? I have tried renaming the [name] block of the .rem file as mediacenter and that didn't work either.
