Joe, I use and Ocelot to do what you are asking. This device programs with the PC and uses the if, or, then, and commands to control you X10 equipment. It can also send out Ir commands based on what your X10 lighting does. Turn on your DVD and go into a Movie lighting mode for example. The Ocelot keeps track of each x10 light and can tell you if it is on or off. If interested go to the X10 section and do a search on Ocelot.
