To me, the big question is whether you prefer color (TSU6000) vs having the cursor and hard keys (TSU3000). I'd much rather have the curser keys, becuase I like have a cursor functionality available all the time, not just on specific panels. In fact, here is how much I like cursors: I only have a TSU1000 now, and programmed my left-right keys to be cursor left-right and Channel up-down to be cursor up-down with a small OK icon for every screen. I always have hard cursor keys that way, but having real cursor keys PLUS hard keys would even be better. But others work around this, and prefer the cool looking color screens. It's everyone's personal preference. I also think you can program the entire screen surface for the 3000, while you have dedicated graphics for some parts of the 6000 (others, am I right about this?) I'm waiting to hear the reviews of the 3000 before I upgrade. The report of slow button response is a bit worrisome.
