VPC does have hyperterminal. VPC just emulates the hardware...you actually install a regular version of Windows on it, so it has a full complement of software and drivers.

If hyperterminal would work then Z-term would work natively on OS X. However, I am pretty sure that since the 3000 is USB based, it will not work with any terminal program. The older Prontos probably worked because they are serial based.

I guess I'll just download from this Dell for now.
