AFAIK there is no way to have a global definition for hard buttons which punches through to all devices. I just did the extra work. I was a bit of a PITA, but it works.
The labels on Firm 2 and Firm 3 will get stuff appended to them if you enter stuff using the label button. If you want to change the label, delete the current label and then use the label button, or just enter the label in the text box provided.
