I personally feel from selling/programming 1000s and 2000s that this product really is "new". The PeNG software isn't anything like Pedit4 really, lots of things are now called others. But, I feel like if the Pedit4 software or Pedit in general was more like PeNG, my learning curve wouldn't been so great, I found PeNG to be a bit cryptic, but having a background in HTML Interfaces, it wasn't hard to pick up on... just learning to call backgrounds panels... and BTW: Why can't the damned things just be called BACKGROUNDS... one of my petty gripes (seperate from my bug gripes) about the software.

As for the remote, my company has found alot of the buttons to be easier. When we programmed Pup and Pdown keys before, they were soft and had to be hit just right to work them. So the left hand side buttons are a welcome change. The one thing that I don't like... and it doesn't seem like the problem has been fixed yet, is the TOOL hard key. We've actually had clients accidently delete devices and buttons without knowing. And of course no one wants to really pay for their own mistakes, but they sure expect you to fix them.

As a whole, like I said before my speech, this seems more like a "new" product or "new" device. And it will take a while to fix everything. All I see is how people don't like the remote... I say don't use it, take it back, and go home to the TSU1k or 2k forum(and that doesn't include the original poster for this thread). But for those of us who see the potential, hang on because it's going to be a sweeter ride than the ugly TSU2ks'.
