The NGedit software natively supports it. What's more, You can actually cover up the top and bottom default status bars. I custom made my own 'Home' screen which has all of that info removed.

Very simply, just create a button or import a graphic that states what you want. Then create a series of links for that macro. For example, I have movie titles on my .pcf. Each is loaded within my DVD Carousel. Clicking on a movie title on the 3000 triggers a macro of 'folder,1,3,2,enter,pause,enter'. I would have had to press 'folder', then 132 (carousel number movie is in), then enter twice.

I did notice that the macros are slower than the 2000. For some reason, there's a slight delay between them, even when I don't specify a delay.
