I agree it could have been a bit more mature. The 1000 was the same way when it came out so I am confident Philips will solve the problems. To me the hard buttons (especially the 4 way pad) are worth the problems. The directional pad is so integrated into watching Tivo I was constantly switching from one screen to another. Now with the extra hard buttons and the 4 way I don't even have to look at the remote.
