I do have the RF Extender. I have used it many times with the 6000, and have just recently started playing with it with the 3000. It seems to work fine. My imported programming seemed to bog down the remote, thus making everything slow down(I originally thought it was a problem with the RF, but it was not), I just reset the remote, and it is all better. I am currently working on new original programming for it, as I have had a lot of problems importing my 2000 and 6000 programming into it. The extender does have 4 ir ports, where you can plug in ir emitters(included). You can also use dual emitters to give it a capability of 8. Also, the front of the extender works as an IR blaster, so if you have your equipment in a closet, you can mount it on the opposite side, and do away with the single emitters altogether. The instructions are very good in explaining this. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at [email protected]
