Hi all,

I thought I would start a thread that might collect things that I believe should be in PENG. Others can follow suit and add on their thoughts. Maybe we will get lucky and someone at Phillips might read it.

Who knows, maybe these items are already in there and I didn't know and someone will point them out to me ;>)

1) More graphics tools, like a standard Microsoft drawing apps might have, such as the "Align To" feature : top, bottom, middle, etc. Adding lines, boxes, circles, etc. with varying thickness, etc. Std computer drawing tools.

2) A user configurable method for importing buttons, etc., into the the Gallery, instead of one at a time.

3) Reporting/Printing - Mostly as a way to do troubleshooting, allow user configurable or standardized reports that would give details of button properties, either to the screen or to paper. The typical button properties report should be hierarchial, showing detail of all of the links, steps, jumps, etc. for each button in a device or even for all buttons reported for multiple devices.

4) Ability to configure screen layers, such that a background can be setup and could be added to select pages automatically and then the "top" layer can be customized with buttons, etc. Would cut down on dragging and copying, etc.

5) Additional trouble shooting tools for designing and/or making global changes.

6) A more complete snap-to-grid tool with a few more options.

7) Hard button "punch-through" options, so that certain hard buttons can be globally programmed for every device, with user options.

That's about all the pops into my head right now. Ok folks, jump in!

Regards...Dave
