Really it is a little work to learn but with p/ccf's on this site I bet you can program the thing just as good if not better than the store. Plus when you change equipment you know what you are doing so changing the remote is no big deal (and won't cost you another $150.00)
A standard config is really not that difficult. Look at Dale Crawfords easy theater, it is a good easy config to customize easily.
