I have noticed, a lot, lately when calling Philips I get an Indian whose accent is hard to understand and don't have many answers to tech problems.
What I found out, from the manager of Tweeter (where I buy my equiptment), is Philips, as well as Panasonic, has all of their customer service calls routed to Their India office where it is much cheaper to run. He said that altho they can answer general questions they are not good at tech stuff, which I found out. Without hurting their feelings by saying you can't understand them or they never can help, you just ask them to transfer you to Philips Corp in America. Here is where you find they know more about the tech issues.
They couldn't help me with my overlapping graphics and still couldn't help me today. Thank God for Archer who stated in another post to make sure no button or border is in the negative position. You have to move it to the Zero position. This solved the problem with no help from Philips. When I called my Manager at Tweeter is when he told me what to do when calling so I'm passing this on to you and hope it helps.
Tranfers to India?? Hate to see their 800 phone bill...lol
