I have two 3000's, one I'm using for testing and the other for everyday use. The one I use for everyday use is still on the factory batteries after 4 weeks of use and the backlight set to 20 seconds. The test model is on its 4th set of batteries after four weeks. This is probably because of the countless downloads I have been doing with it checking out PCF's from other people that have problems, checking my PCF's to see how the latest change is going to look in the acutal remote. I am now using rechargeable batteries in the test remote.
