So you bought a $600 color printer and it has no updated drivers??? Sounds like you got robbed, but anyway, I'm not here to start anything, but it's like when I go install high speed internet on someones 95 since they want everything THE BEST, but yet they still have a pent1 running win3.1, and then they complain that it doesn't work or isn't that fast, just gets on my nerves. And Bill: Actually upgrading software to stay current DOES make sence. If what you're saying is true then upgrading the firmware wouldn't make any sence either right? It's basically the same thing. Sounded like a contradiction to me, but you know how the internet is you can't tell inflection in writen words.
