also some movies have bookmarks, so you could fake it on those titles (either format) but then again it is not as simple as stopping or turning things off. You need to remember to bookmark and then to start at the book mark when you turn it back on.

A second trick that work on each movie (depending on player) is to just get the chapter information before turning it off so the FF/REW would be a bit less.
