Thanks for the input Dave. I would like to say that I feel happy about it but I really cannot. Of course Philips is working on an update. The product has many many flaws and while said flaws do not make the product unusable they certainly irritate end users. I would be very surprised if they were not working on an update. Problem is we only have rumors and hear say. No firm date has been announced and the previous deadlines for the memory upgrade have come and gone with no resolution. I bought the Pronto on the belief that the company would come up with an upgrade on the first quarter. That did not happen. Philips never explained why while at the same time they keep calling the Pronto a 32MB device!!.Now it seems that the next update wont be out for another few months! and that may still not fix the memory issue, shame on Philips. Sorry for the rant but I've never been more upset with a company. Philips doesnt seem to care about its customers.
