Be sure that the stereo connector that connects the ant. with the extender unit is seated ALL the way in. It should feel like it snaps into place. This was the problem with the first couple I installed. It is much more snug than the IR emmiter connections. I have also seen a co-worker make the same mistake so I know I'm not the only one.
