at the moment I have a 7000 running the june 05 firmware, and a 7500 on the new firmware.

The 7000 repsonse is much faster, and the macros are also noticably faster, pressing the same button on both remotes that should be a three second macro is about a half second slower on the 7500.

I was also able to duplicate the double press macro cancel lockup problem, and I didn't even try to! I managed to do it during normal use (no screen saver etc either).

Seems the backlight on the hardbuttons is easier to see since the light passes through larger openings on the buttons.

Can't decided if I can start sending out 7500s yet

(also mine shipped with two hard buttons not working)
