Don't get so upset. For most users, the firmware is not a problem. In fact, I'm using it myself with no issues. The problems appear with certain types of equipment or certain sequences of operations that one might use.
Don't be so quick to judge. You paid good money for that OS that you use that allows viruses and hacks all the time. Software is software. It will sometimes have bugs. The Pronto team has worked hard to get as many bugs nailed down as possible and they continue to work hard. How about cutting them some slack?
