A bit of a story first; I have just received a 2nd hand 7000 in very good condition, bought on ebay from the US ( I live in the UK ). I initially used a large 240v/110v transformer and the US pronto PSU. All worked fine. I then bought a UK 240v/12v transformer and immediatley proceeded to blow the fuse in my docking station by plugging it in with the polarity incorrect. I have repaired the dock for now by soldering a single strand of wire across the fuse and all is working fine again.

To my question, when I dock my 7000 the blue LED's come on and the pronto starts charging. After a while the LED's go out but the pronto battery indicator still shows that its charging. If I remove the pronto the battery indicator says that it is fully charged yet when I place it back on the dock the LED's come back on for about 5 minutes and the indicator shows charging again, and never stops.

Is this behaviour correct? does the battery indicator ever stop when the pronto is docked? or is there something else wrong with my dock/pronto and fully charged isn't being detected?

Thanks in advance

Kev
