It has been about six weeks since I performed the modification to the pickup sensor, and so far everything is working perfectly. I have performed many uploads and downloads, lots of use, abuse etc. with no problems at all. I must say that I was very disappointed when I first got the unit home and realized that I would not be able to use the pickup sensor in the way that I had hoped, but now all is good!

I’m wondering if anyone else has given this modification a try yet?
