You are correct. But you could also have done it the way you started out (learning directly to the Pronto). Once you get into the Tools section, select Learn and then Learn Button. You can then navigate to the device and page by using the cursor (right/left to change device and up/down to change page within the device). There are differing opinions on which method (PENG or Pronto) gives the best results; if you run into some codes that don't work with one method, try learning with the other one.
