Hi All,
I posted a while ago on the erratic behavior of my TSU7000 when I put it in the cradle/base. Lock ups, screen going blank while buttons work, screen going grey and full lockup. Disconnecting and re-seating the battery with a couple second pause would bring it back. And the battery would never hold a full charge (even with a extra capacity one). Didn't get replies save for a couple folks with the same problem.

However, I have found what was wrong and want to let everyone know.

On a hunch I checked the output voltage of the power supply for the base cradle and found that it was putting out 17.38 volts rather than the required 12 volts DC. I replaced the power supply and everything seems to be back to working fine. No more flashing blue lights (overcharge warning?) on the base/cradle either.

So, if your remotes not holding a charge peoperly, acting erratic especially when inserted into the cradle etc. try checking the voltage on the power supply. A very cheap and easy fix.

Hope this helps someone.

Peace,

Tam
