Are you sure that you are using an appropriate power pack?
In particular, the polarity MUST be correct.
From memory I had to have my 7000 on the charger for about
a day before I could use it the first time.
I made sure of that before I dared plug it in. :)
The plugpack I used was 12v DC, with the 'pin' being positive (+) and the outer being negative (-).
On the off chance the cradle is cactus, what pins should I be seeing the 12v DC coming out on the cradle ?
