What bose system do you have. Some have the feture that
you could let it accept IR instead of RF. If you give
us you Model number for the Bose you would recieve better
help, but once you switch the Bose to IR(if available)
then you can learn the codes from the remote.

If you have a Lifestyle system there is a menu setting that allows the Bose headunit to accept IR commands.

It can also output commands for learning purposes but this is not a good way to go about it. The IR blaster on the Bose system can cause problems with the learning process. I have had much more reliable results using clean generated codes. Let me know the model number and the codes you desire and I might be able to help.

Regarding the RF... Bose is propriatary. You can not use the Pronto to communicate directly via RF with the Bose unit. You can use a Pronto RFX6500 with the Pronto to send signal wirelessly but out of the RFX6500 receiver it is all IR. You will have to attach an emitter near the center of the Lifestyle unit below the disc drive door. The receiver is located somewhere behind the lower black trim strip.

If you have a CD20 or a Lifestyle 40/50 with an MRI.... different story!!!
