Judging from Philip's track record on previous Pronto remotes, it seems there's always a lag (could be a number of months) between the time they first release a product and when the product is truly prime-time ready. Hope that's not the case with the 9600? But, folks are still waiting for the 2-way RS232 (I think Lyndel may have implied it might be available in a couple of months... does anyone have the latest story on that)?
Feature differences aside, do 9600 users generally feel that the TSU9600 is a much higher quality product (in terms of very few bugs) as compared to when the TSU3000/TSU7000 first came out??
The 9600 also will this month have a scripting language
which allows you to do almost anything. For example, you
can use variables to keep track of the state of everything.
That would be a nice feature (still not a necessity IMO, but still nice to have).
