Hello from Germany,

I have a RU960 and have problems with an ON/ OFF macro I have made.

The macro is to turn on all required equipment to watch TV (SAT-receiver; Falt TV; Amplifier). A second macro is for the same equipment to turn off.

Unfortunatly the Flat TV has just a power toggle, even if the POWER ON and POWER OFF frequenz in the data base works, but in both direktions. Means that I can use the POWER OFF also to turn on the TV.

For the SAT-Receiver I just have a learned code for power toggle. There is no working code in the database.

If I use the codes as single buttons, everything works fine. But in the macro very often either the TV or the SAT receiver wont turn on or off.

I played around with the position and the "holding angle" of the remote. By doing that I beleive that it has an influence on the behavior.
From my sofa (approx. 12 ft. away from the equipment) it is a pain to use the macros, as most of the times I have to switch on the TV or SAT with single buttons afterwards.

I also tested a bit with the signal duration and the delay between the signals, but with no better results.

What is the best signal duration and how long should the delay between the signals be?

Before I bought the Pronto I had a OFA Kameleon 8060 for quite a fe years. With that remote I havn´t had the comfort of a Pronto, but the macros were 100% reliable.

The involved equipment is:

Thomson 32LB125 B5 LCD TV
Code On: Thomson code set 0652 (Power on)
Code Off: Thomson code set 0652 (Power off)

Technisat Digicorder S2 Sat receiver:
Code Power toggle: 5000 0000 0000 0001 0008 000C

Thanks for your help in advance,
