I will give .4 and .5 a try.

The reason I only went to .10 is that for some reason things would hardly work when I got much past .04.

I just noticed something last night that might help. My IR receiver flashes green when it receives a signal, and when I use the regualar remote (or other touchscreen learning remote) I press the button and the "green light" shows up with no delay.

When I use the Pronto TSU3500, I press the command and and it takes about a half a second for the green light to show that the receiver had received the signal.
