My 7500 is dead too. Servicewidetech wanted $220.00 to replace the "Control Board." See my post on "Want an Out-of-Warranty Repair Facility."
ServiceWideTech seems to be the "ONLY" authorized repair facility and consequently in my opinion they take advantage of it.
They refuse to send any parts like another case or one of the screens, or even a new button assembly. They want to make sure you pay thier labor rate and be without your unit, when in reality many people are completely competent to replace things since it also appears they don't even do board level repairs, instead they just swap out the board.
