had the same problem with my Unit. Used for 3 Month and then only the Backlight functioned upon touch. Dissasembled the Unit, resoldered the connectortape and punctured the contacts on the Digitizer unit. So far I´m happy again. Remains the question for how long......

Anyway, thank You very much for this thread. Philips still didn´t show up with a solution? Poor. What would then be when their new Models came up with such a problem? Shame on You Philips in this one.
