Bought mine through a "Custom Installer" in May 2005.

Two days ago, touchscreen won't work, but hard buttons will light it up, as described in this thread. Did the reset, remove batteries, etc.

Called Philips, they quoted me $230 plus shipping for their "out of warranty policy". Policy? - well, it's not really a policy, its a one time "repair".

Agent told me, that any time the screen doesn't work, it must be sent in. They cannot (or will not) offer to fix over phone.

My "Custom Intaller" said he'd stop by to "take a look at it. But didn't you say your daughter spilled apple juice on it?" No, that was the guy from Blink-182 singing Adam's Song, you moron.

Anyone know any good class action attorneys?
