Once you remove the green cover you will see a flexible plastic circuit board. At the right corner, top of the screen you will see 4 contact points. They look like little o o o o, you will see the circuit runs in the plastic. Use an eraser to clean those contacts. Also, clean the metal strip at the top and bottom of the screen. After you're done, clean the entire unit with a contact cleaner (available at Radio Shack). Try not to get the contact cleaner on the touch screen. After you're done, download the latest firmware and then calibrate the screen. After I cleaned mine, I was able to calibrate the screen on the first try. The remote has been working perfectly since.
