Barry,
I use CorelDraw to design a layout for the iPronto. Also all the graphics (buttons etc.) are made with this application. These graphics are all exported/saved as to PNG-files (no jpeg's)to make them transparent.
You can use any other graphic software, such as CorelDraw, -Paint or Photoshop or MS-Paint, to design your own.
