Where is the built-in RC database?

Out of the box, the iPronto doesn't work with any of my equipment. There must be a better way of setting it up, than making it *LEARN* all the key presses, one-by-one.

If it needs to be setup using iProntoEdit - how can I test/try a code set before builting it in? Surely, Philips can't expect me to load a code-set, save the ICF, try it out, find it doesn't work, and have to go back to the PC to substitute a different codeset. ????

So am I right in thinking, if you don't have a PC, you can't use iPronto as a RC unless you manually teach it every single button press??

Consumer product - I don't think so.
