I have just bought an iPronto to control my Home Theater PC over my network. I need a remote dektop application running on the HTPC to operate ShowShifter and other applications. I have tried both UltraVNC and RealVNC.

Both work correctly with a laptop on the same network, but when I connect with the iPronto browser, the correct login page is displayed but the virtual keyboard does not appear when I touch the password box. Since I cannot enter a password, I cannot access the HTPC. Neither version of VNC can be set up witout a password as this is seen as a security risk.

Has anyone got VNC or any other remote desktop application to work? I have also tried the terminal server that comes with Windows XP Professional but I cannot get the iPronto to even logon to the starting page.
