an update :
My unit is still down, same as before does not see the WAP. Now Philips have been very nice and promised me a swap so I am waiting for this to happen.
I had another thought... is anyone else out there using a dial up connection ? I have a proxy (analogX) for my net connection.
Could the problem be that the EPG looks for an update it does not get. This happens over several days (10 in my case) and then assumes the network is unavailable.
With my setup the epg looks for the update at about 6am when I am not connected.
The unit seems then to permanantly loose network connection overnight...
Just a mad theory, hope my new one does not do the same.
I sould say that when it works (signal indicator lit on front panel) all is well.
