I had this same problem when I first got my iPronto, Check to make sure the network card is in nice and tight.

I was only able to use the fixed IP address also and was getting extremely frustrated the first day when I was setting it up. After about an hour of trying to mess with it, I decided to open up the network card slot. Sure enough I did not put the network card in properly. Right after I pushed it in maybe a milimetre further everything worked perfect and and I no longer had to use the fixed IP address.

If that does not work then I almost guarantee that your problem is a faulty network card and not the unit itself. Call BlueDo and have them exchange your network card and everything should be back to normal.

But make sure you check that the network card is placed in properly before you bother to BlueDo. It could save you some waiting time. Also if it is in properly try taking it completely out leave it for 5 mins and then re-insert it and make sure it is in well.

I think that should take care of your problem.
