With the cover of the network card removed does the green LED flash continuously or is it always on ? (with the machine on)

If its continuously on at least its seeing the AP... but as above you may need basic settings right first.

have you tried pinging the ipronto ? (ping 192.168.1.12)

Have you created any passwords or encryption settings on your AP ?

Guess you have tried disconnecting the AP from the power and reconnecting ?

have you got the capitalisation of your SSID correct ?

Dont like to be negative but this sounds a bit like my problems, see "Network Problems" thread below :-( I dont see any errors in your setup...
