Really struggling with getting the iPronto up and running

Just bought a wireless ADSL modem and a couple of adapters - one for my laptop and one for the home computer - of course these came with installation CDs and were more or less plug and play.

New to all this ip, dhcp, wap nonsense (and lets face it, the iPronto manual is no help at all) and really struggling to find the information I need :(

Been having issues with the screen locking up and the power button doesn't seem to do anything (should it ??) so thought an 'update' would be a good idea - it's rebooted but can't find a network so is just displaying the blue "...will connect to the network to download software .... press any of the buttons below"

I'm worried that I've got a $1500 coaster here cos I can't even get the damn thing to work :(
