I actually agree. Now I've had time to look at it more subjectively, I do love this machine. It does need a few minor issues sorting out. Hard buttons, the side buttons and jump to EPG would really cover all it's biggest shortcomings in my book, so it's hardly a major failing. To be honest, my problem is the crashing. It's funny how this problem makes all the other minor ones seem like a much bigger deal than thay are. Except the hard buttons. They are a glaring oversight! Especially since previous prontos did it better... All in all though, I haven't seen another controller anywhere near this good that anyone other than third world dictators can afford.

I do still feel that a bit longer Beta testing and development would have produced a better product for release. I do object to the modern-day approach of "release it anyway and fix it through upgrades"... Thanks Bill Gates for introducing that idea!
