Hi, I had similar problems with my netgear AP. just got the linksys WRT54G using it in mixed b/g mode and all appears well so far. not sure of your location, this is currently 80.00 GBP from Comet in the UK.

You may also want to double check your DHCP settings on the AP, mine were wrong (Thanks Phil) this helped but still i would get maybe 1 lockup a week.

Other solution which I was using was to use an X10 module, on the AP power supply, controlled from the ipronto ! This works but not really ideal :-) You can get these from www.letsautomate.com or other places...
