Sure I've read about this before - would be interested you here your views/ideas ....

I want to set up remote access on my pc for a load of other things anyway (playing MP3s using the iPronto as a GUI), but one idea I was toying with was to 'stream' ?? a video link from my Sky+ box into the PC so I can see what's playing from any computer (and the iPronto ??) from anywhere, at any time

In very basic terms, (and I've not really thought about the best way to do this yet) this should enable me to fire IR commands at the NetX next to my Sky+ box, and view the results in a window on screen ........ shouldn't it ?

So I'm at work - realise I'm going to miss something - remote access my PC (and therefore Sky+) and work through the commands to find and record the programme I was going to miss
