To recover from this situation take alook at the www.pronto.philips.com web site and read the iPronto FAQ titled "iPronto Startup". Item 4 describes how to startup in a special Manual Configuration mode that allows pending firmware updates to be cancelled. It also allows network and Wi-Fi settings to be re-entered if they have become corrupted. (Actually this can be a painfully slow way of entering information and best avoided if possible!)
