Yes it should work, please return the card to your dealer for refund and try a different brand

I tried formatting both ways, no luck ...
The specs for the iPronto slot said ANY MMC card would work.
I just spent $35.00 for this card, can you forward $35 to me so I can tryanother brand?

If the iPronto is equipped with firmware version 1.82 and it still does notrecognize the card it might be a compatibility issue. Please try using adifferent brand card to test. Also please try to format to FAT32 as well asFAT16.

Have updated the software and firmware - same results, does not recognize the card.

Activation of the MMC slot
Now any MMC card (not an SD card) can be used to transfer files from andtothe iPronto. iProntoEdit has 2 new items:
Export To MMC and Import from MMC to make this possible.
