The EPG already has a grouping system. Some of the categories are odd, but that is simply an EPG issue that needs looking at. I seem to remember seeing "Friends" listed as Drama, not comedy in the past, and similar things have happened with other programmes. But the "only show certain programme types" option is already there.

I would also like to have the facility to disable the soft buttons down the left hand side of the screen. This would mean they would have to give you a new "special function" so you could assign a button to access the EPG and another one for Web Browsing, but that should be quite easy to do. It wouldn't take a lot of programming to be able to assign a specific URL to a Web Browsing button (in the same vein as a Windows Shortcut) then, which would address your last request.
