I was incorrect in my analysis of how the netx works. it does not appear that it is communicated with in a WiFi sense (TCP/IP or UDP) other then when looking for thier presence. I would really like to see an ability to send data via TCP/IP or UDP from the iPronto to a network device via IP address, and to be able to send an arbitrary string in that manner. Yes I know some of that exists via the web browser, but why not supply the basics. I touch a key on the screen and a message is sent via TCP/IP or UDP. Think of the possibilities.
From a bug/shortcoming point why does it always say learned Command. i can change the text to say what i want but the next time I load the icf, it has reverted back to the fixed string "Learned Command". I can change the text in other Pronto's, and the fixed string is redundent as the (C) meand learned command.
