The only thing I can think of, is your router/access point dropping the connection for a while in the early hours of the morning? Do you have filesharing software running on your PC overnight? If so, this frequently causes your router's buffers to fill, making it drop the connection at various times. It will normally recover by itself, leaving you none the wiser that it ever happened if you were out of the room at the time (which I would hope you are at EPG update time)! If this happens while the EPG is trying to update, that would cause your problem. There is no problem I am aware of with 1.9.5 firmware, so I suspect it is a problem with your setup.

Of course, 20 people will now doubtless post and say "mine does that" and we'll discover a new bug in the firmware! ;)
